They say everything happens for a reason.  But who are they ...?

Since I can remember stories fascinated me. Books, movies, television and old folks sharing their colourful past, mesmerized me to such an extent that I was lost in that world.    I always thought that it was the medium that drew me, first books, then television, followed by movies and then the Internet.  I came to the realization a while ago that it was not the medium that held me captive; it was the STORIES that it conveyed.

So it came that during my growing up years and subsequent grown years that the stories were always there but I was too busy with life, to tell some of them.   This brings me back to the opening statement.  Everything happens for a reason.

When our family relocated to a farm next to a mountain in the Sandveld, our whole life changed.  If you are a Non-South African or stay in Gauteng, the Sandveld is a region in the Western Cape on the West Coast, 160km from Cape Town.  Gone was the hustle and bustle of the city, the frantic pace, the not enough hours in the day and a life to busy for one another.  Old challenges seemed to dissolve into a void, making space for new ones to eagerly take their place.  We believe that everything happens for a reason.  Our lifes are filled love, peace and time for one another. 

Now we have time for stories and there are many stories to be told.  Your story could make a difference in someone's life.
